Last month, I got to see an old friend back from when I was in LA. I met Caroline when she was very young (I think she was still in the primary school), but now she has grown into a matured young woman.
I remembered her interest in arts and drawings but when she showed me her watercolor paintings on her tiny sketch book, they were nothing like I remembered them back than. It was like "love at the second sight. Her drawings to me carries that innocent feelings that can only comes from the heart — a labour and expression of love. Looking at her paintings make me feel like I want to be part of her "dream" world.
Now Caroline lives in NYC where she usually sits somewhere in the corner of the city for hours with her water color sets — drifted away in her world.
Early this year we had the honor to be part of Red Envelope's design team for their prestige clients in Surabaya. The design process varies from client to clients but we always try to accommodate and service our clients to make their wedding dream come true. It's very exciting for us to finally see and hold the physical end products especially when it's ended with a "happily every after".
The latest greeting cards edition by Sopha & Co. have arrived and can be found in several stores near you. This time we have great collections for birthdays, baby born, anniversary, and weddings.
With Christmas just around the corner we are ready with our exciting Christmas greeting cards collections. Keep yourself posted.
We had another fun project with Red Envelope, collaborating together making this awesome invitation to life. Bali is definitely one of the 'it' destinations for our clients and here's another one that choose travel as their wedding theme. The whole invitation were designed to look like airplane tickets along with real leather traveling wallet — all that goes in an elegant black and red box. If you were to be invited to that wedding, who wouldn't want to go?
Michelle, the bride, knew exactly what she wanted for their wedding invitation. She was ready with all materials such as: color palate, themes and sketches for us to execute the invitation. She wanted it to look like a plane ticket, passport and the envelope holder that goes with her "Bali Travel" wedding theme. It's one of my favorite wedding invitation we've done so far.
Michelle is also a profesional make-up artist for wedding and fashion. For further information please visit her web at: http://WWW.MGANI-MAKEUP.COM/
We had the pleasure to accommodate Vina as our very frist intern. Her passion for drawing is also her definite strength that should be further explored. I enjoy it the most when combining her illustrations with other detailed elements and work them into finished works. Some of those piece along with her other contributions will be produce as part of our future collections. Here are also some of her original works here at our studio. Way to go and thank you Vina! Last July I had the chance to helped work on my dearest niece's second birthday party, a pink and red Hello Kitty themed party. We made a small team and set out to build and decorate the sweet table ourselves. All of us had to figure out how to paint and construct the back drop and apparently it was not an easy do. To go with the theme the girls were given tutus and the boys were to wear a red bow ties. Check it out, a team member also managed to prepare Hello Kitty bento box for the kids. The kitty was definitely there everywhere you look!
